The Ancient Road in Middle Jutland connects the old capital of The Ancient Road, Viborg, and the ancient town of the royals, Jelling. You get to cycle through the typical Middle Jutland landscape which includes wide heathland, the hills of the mountain ridge, lush lowlands and large lakes.
On Hærvejen in Middle Jutland
The route leads from Viborg to Jelling and includes a lot of small and large attractions. On this route you pass through places where once some of the most important moments of Denmark’s history happened.
