Enjoy a wild day in GIVSKUD ZOO. Here, you can go on a safari in your own car or hop aboard the GIVSKUD ZOO safari bus and get close to the animals. Head out on the African savannah where giraffes and zebras cross the road right in front of you. Continue into the lion’s territory and feel the thrill when the big cats prowl around your car. Enjoy a nice stroll and meet the zoo animals, including the spider monkeys, gorillas and giant otters. In selected habitats, you even walk among the animals. Throughout the season there are feeding hours and exciting activities for the whole family.

GIVSKUD ZOO also has Denmark’s largest dinosaur exhibition. Here there are 50 different dinosaurs of natural size, ranging from the largest herbivores of about 40 metres to the deadly carnivore Tyrannosaurus Rex.

In 2019, GIVSKUD ZOO celebrates its 50th anniversary by expanding with Europe’s largest habitat for spectacle bears and a 9-metre tall climbing tower, Skywalk. In addition, there are two completely new special exhibitions "The Cabin of Death" and "The Plastic Planet", which means the park has four special exhibitions in total.

In addition to its many exciting animal experiences, GIVSKUD ZOO also offers space in which to play as well as hands-on fun and quality time for both young and old. Drop by the North American tepee camp, where kids can bake stick bread over the campfire and pan gold like real gold diggers or visit the dinosaur park and Ice Age camp where fun and minds-on activities await. The youngest can also burn their energy in the playgrounds while their parents relax.

The zoo is located close to the motorway between Vejle and Herning, just 20 minutes from Billund and Vejle.
