Discover Northwest Jutland along The Ancient Road
On this part of the trail you will find the coastal towns of Hirthals, Lønstrup, Hune and Blokhus.
On Hærvejen in northwestern Jutland
Experience the shifting dune Rubjerg Knude with its lighthouse as well as the numerous watercourses and lakes that are scattered like small oasis across the flat heath. Børglum Kloster, where The Ancient Road originally led to, is also worth a visit.
Further south you get to walk through the beautiful dune plantations of Svinkløv und Kollerup. Once you pass the brewery town of Fjerritslev, you get to the area around the memorial stone Husby Hole with its grave mounds and sunken paths. Cross the bridge Aggersundbroen and follow the Limfjord until you arrive at Løgstør, a town famous for its mussels.
In this section we have collected a few attractions that we hope will inspire you.
