In Himmerland we are happy that we can offer two hiking routes. The Ancient Roads splits north of Aars into a northeastern route towards Aalborg and Frederikshavn, and a northwestern route towards Løgstør and Hirtshals. Now it´s your turn to choose the hiking route you prefer.
On Hærvejen in Himmerland
The landscape is typical for Middle Jutland with the Limfjord, forests and open areas as well as several smaller and larger green gems of nature along the way.
At the top you can find information regarding the cities, the nature and the history as well as detailed suggestions for different hiking sections. At the bottom of the page there is information to help you plan your trip.
